2009 Korina Brazilian Electric #078 - aka: Blonde Beauty

This guitar was an extremely satisfying guitar to build. The wood recipe was simple: Korina and Brazilian rosewood. Two tonewoods well known for their superior tonal qualities. This combination of woods coupled with a complex yet simple to use switching setup makes for an amazingly versatile instrument. This guitar can cover it all and then some. The choice of the Joe Barden TwoTone humbuckers and the Barden single coil allows for all of the classic humbucker tones while being able to switch to single coil mode to open up the single coil realm. A simple concept that yeilds a vast array of tonal options. In a word: versatility.
